The Fire Magic Echelon Diamond Series combines the ultimate in performance, beauty, and innovation, featuring a hot surface ignition, blue back-lit knobs, heat zone separators, and infrared sear burner options.

FEATURES:

  • Illuminated chromed digital thermometer with meat probe, timer, and alarm settings for precise grilling.
  • Analog thermometer with polished stainless steel bezel in hood measures up to 1000 °F.
  • All 304 stainless steel trapezoid cooking grids provide more optimal cooking surface for even heat and great searing.
  • 16-gauge stainless steel, flavor grids are engineered for durability, even heat distribution, and reduced flare-ups.
  • Heat zone separators between each burner, flavor grid, and cooking grid allow cooking an assortment of foods at different temperatures simultaneously, and to provide better indirect cooking.
  • Hot surface electronic ignition provides reliable lighting for every meal. Requires 120V AC power supply.

Overall, this is a good grill.

I purchased this barbecue to replace an existing built-in grill. The nicest thing about this grill is that it does not flare up like my old one did and that the heat is easy to regulate. The only disadvantage is that when the wind is blowing 20 mph or more, the burners will blow out on lesser settings. Adding an adjustable baffle to the air intake location would considerably reduce the likelihood of this happening. I designed an attachable cover for the entrance to assist prevent this from happening.

Would have given it a 5 but that the lighting harness is so short that it was difficult to move during installation and the first burner LED became disconnected and no longer functions.
