ILVE Majestic III vs Majestic II: What Changed and Which to Buy (2026)

Updated October 2026. InnovDepot is an authorized ILVE dealer. Specs come from ILVE USA's published product data as of October 16, 2026. Prices are InnovDepot's standard-color prices on October 18, 2026.

ILVE's Majestic range now comes in two generations: Majestic II and the newer Majestic III. They look alike, share the same widths and the same TFT touch display, and use the same oven sizes. The differences are in the burners, the cooktop options, induction sizes, one new color and availability.

The short answer

  • Buy Majestic III if you want the strongest burners (up to 25,000 BTU), a French top, a 48-inch induction range or the Mediterranean Mint color.
  • Buy Majestic II if you want the Majestic look and touch controls and the 20,000 BTU burners are enough for how you cook. Some Majestic II colors and trims may be reduced and some models may be in stock, so check the product page for today's price and availability.

What's the same

Both generations have the rounded, sculpted Majestic body, a TFT touch display, a temperature probe, soft-close doors, a rotisserie and easy-clean enamel ovens. Both come in 30, 36, 40, 48 and 60-inch widths, in dual fuel or induction, with brass, chrome, copper or burnished trim, and both carry ILVE's 2-year parts and labor warranty.

What changed in Majestic III

Stronger burners

Majestic III has a dual-function burner rated up to 25,000 BTU, up from 20,000 BTU on Majestic II. That matters most for searing, stir-frying and getting a big pot to a boil quickly.

French top on the big ranges

The 48 and 60-inch Majestic III ranges can be ordered with a French top, a flat cooking plate where several pans can sit at once, which suits sauces, slow cooking and keeping food warm. Majestic II doesn't offer it.

48-inch induction

Majestic II induction stops at 40 inches. Majestic III adds a 48-inch induction range with a double oven.

Mediterranean Mint

Majestic III adds Mediterranean Mint to the color list. Majestic II isn't offered in it.

Warming drawer on every model

Every Majestic III has a warming drawer. On Majestic II, ILVE's product data lists one on the 36 to 60-inch models but not on the 30-inch, so check the product page for the exact model.

Availability and lead times

ILVE lists most Majestic III models as pre-order with a 90 to 120 day lead time, and some colors and sizes ship sooner. Majestic II is the previous generation, and ILVE lists some models in stock. We confirm the lead time for your exact model, color and trim before you order.

Frequently asked questions

Is Majestic III worth it over Majestic II?

If you want 25,000 BTU burners, a French top, 48-inch induction or Mediterranean Mint, yes, because Majestic II doesn't offer them. If you don't need those, Majestic II gives you the same look, display and oven features (the 30-inch Majestic II has no warming drawer). Some Majestic II colors and trims may be reduced, so compare the product pages for the color and trim you want.

Do Majestic II and Majestic III look different?

Very little. Both have the same rounded Majestic body, trims and TFT display. The visible differences are the cooktop options and the Mediterranean Mint color.

Is Majestic II discontinued?

Majestic II is the previous generation. ILVE still lists it, and some models are in stock.

Are Majestic ranges self-cleaning?

No. Both generations use easy-clean enamel oven cavities rather than a self-cleaning cycle.
