Q: Can you manually open and close the drawer on this microwave MWD-1?

A: You can manually open the MWD-1 if you pull the handle on the drawer. Do not attempt to use the button and manually open the drawer at the same time.

This might cause the drawer to come off the tracks if it's pulled too fast while trying to automatically open. Either manually open the drawer or use the button but don’t do both.

Its workmanship much exceeds our expectation.

When I told my friends I was thinking about getting a microwave, they suggested I get one with a drawer. I had no idea it was a thing, but after doing some fast research, I was intrigued. It's considerably safer and more convenient to use than an over-the-rack or countertop microwave, in my opinion. Furthermore, the quality exceeds my expectations.

It's incredible, yet...

So far, we are quite pleased! It runs really well and is quite simple to use. The only thing I don't like is that the plastic on the open/close buttons has begun to wrinkle. Aside from that, it's one of our favorite aspects of our kitchen renovation.

Exceptional workmanship.

It appears to be a hybrid of traditional and contemporary design. To say the least, the quality is outstanding. The design is fairly similar to a conventional microwave drawer, but the superb quality is immediately noticeable. We're glad we chose this one over the OTR.
