Thor Kitchen 24" Built-In Dishwasher with Open Dry and 7 Wash Cycles in Stainless Steel (TDW24C7)

I have three kids ages 4, 7, and 11. Our old Frigidaire was loud enough to wake the baby from nap and still left glasses cloudy. Switched to this Thor TDW24C7 last fall and everything changed. At 47 dBA I genuinely forget it's running. The Open Dry function actually dries plastic — my old dishwasher required towel-drying every single Tupperware lid. The third rack is perfect for our long cooking utensils and baby bottles. My husband didn't want to spend the money but it's one of our best purchases this year.

Quality is consistent with the range — heavy door, solid racks, clean Steam cycle that got baked lasagna cheese off without pre-rinsing. Only small gripe: took me 3 loads to figure out optimal loading. Once you get it, dishes are spotless.
