Kitchen remodel decision matrix: Bosch SHXM4AY55N at $749 vs this Thor HDW2401SS at $1,104. Paid more for the Thor because we were going all-Thor in the kitchen and wanted brand consistency. Replacing 15-year-old GE — no regrets

When ordering make sure to ask for a detailed instructions. They do have them just not sent with lifts. If having delivered to a residential address, make sure you let them know the trucking company needs to let you know the day and a guesstimate of time when delivery will be.

Contractor recommended — now I know why

1200 CFM is real — finally tamed my wok hei

I cook serious Sichuan food at home — dried chilies, Mapo tofu, stir-fries at 600°F. My old 400 CFM hood could not keep up. Set off the smoke detector almost every time I cooked.
