After years of buying the duralog boxes at $20 per we finally decided to get one of these. We're happy with the choice. It was pretty easy to install and the "wood" looks pretty close to real. The embers could stand to be surrounded by something else to make it look a little more authentic but that may be something we need to play around with. We had an issue with the hose that connects the pan to the gas outlet but Innovdepot responded quickly to my request for another one. They sent me a better quality one within days so all good there.

We haven’t used our heat pump anymore since installing this fireplace. We are all amazed that this insert can warm our home much better than our old fireplace. It also uses less firewood, we’ve been using this for a week now and we are surprised that when we wake up every morning there are still coals left.
